Arguably responsible for shifting the city centre slightly eastwards, Pacific Place is a swanky mall of high-end men’s and women’s fashion. The complex houses 140 shops and restaurants, a department store, four 5-star hotels and 270 serviced apartments.

Pacific Place is noted for its premium skincare shopping, and especially The Beauty Gallery, a collection of beauty brands in a gallery designed by architect Thomas Heatherwick and inspired by the Victorian opulence of the Burlington Arcade in London. Among the prestigious brands housed here, many are exclusive to Hong Kong: the gallery includes the first standalone boutiques of Natura Bissé and Yves Saint Laurent in the world; the first standalone boutique of La Mer in Hong Kong; and the Hong Kong flagship store of Nars.
