Tseung Kwan O Hospital (TKOH) is a secondary-care hospital that opened in 1999. TKOH is a member of Kowloon East Cluster under Hospital Authority, mainly providing A&E service, specialties ambulatory and in-patient services for over 400,000 population in Sai Kung and Tseung Kwan O districts.

Visiting Hours:
General Wards - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily
Medical Rehabilitation Ward - 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm daily
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily

Tseung Kwan O Hospital is located in Tseung Kwan O New Town, which was developed since late 1980s. There was no hospital for providing comprehensive accident and emergency services in Tseung Kwan O district before the opening of TKOH, such services were only available in United Hospital in Kwun Tong. According to the increasing population, Government planed to construct TKOH, and finally opened in 1999. However, TKOH currently provides over 540 beds.

To enhance communication and cooperation between hospitals to improve the efficiency of performance and triage patients. Hospital Authority Kowloon East Cluster was established in October 2001, serving approx 1 million citizens in Kwun Tong & Sai Kung Districts. Within the Cluster, TKOH is mainly responsible for providing A&E service and clinical support service. Other services of TKOH include ambulatory services and rehabilitation services.
