1.World Records

The most expensive rose - Juliet

It took David Austin, the rose breeder, 15 years and about $5 million to breed. It was sold for $15.8 million in 2006.

The oldest living rose - around 1,000 years old

It was found on the wall of the Cathedral of Hildesheim in Germany and it was there since AD 815. Rose is also one of the oldest flowers. Archaeologists have discovered rose fossils that date back 35 million years.

The tallest rose - 5.689 m (18 ft. 8 in)

It was achieved by Christopher Rose (USA) in La Puente, California on 8 November 2017.

The largest rose - 33 inches in diameter

It was a pink rose bred by Nikita K. Rulhoksoffski from San Onofre, California.
