Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour Information

Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour is one of Tung Wah's three non-profit funeral parlours, where another two are International Funeral Parlour and Global Funeral Parlour. Established and opened in 1977, Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour replaced Yau Ma Tei Funeral Parlour back then. The funeral parlour has a 3-storey building with 3 big funeral halls and 8 reposing rooms, which can accommodate around 20-100 people respectively.

G/F : Wing Tak Hall
1/F : Nim Yan Hall
2/F : Tsz Hoi Hall
3/F : Office
4/F : Reposing Rooms

The funeral parlours of TWGHs are operated by the Tranditional Services section, Community Services Division, to provide relatively affordable funeral services to the public, and all the proceeds are for charity. Other than providing general funeral services at a reasonable price, they also offer free services and low priced service packages to the underprivileged. In addition, "Plan Ahead Funeral Arrangement" service provides free talks and visits, allowing participants to plan ahead the funeral arrangements and details according to their wishes.

We offer funeral wreath and flower basket series for Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour. Other than providing professional Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour delivery service, we can also arrange inquiry for the vigil / funeral information of the deceased. The usual delivery time is around 2 hours before the ritual, which is 4pm to 6pm.

More about Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals was lent the fourth floor of International Funeral Parlour as the North Point Funeral Parlour for providing non-profitable low-priced funeral services to the public in 1971. Back then, International Funeral Parlour was still privately-owned and located in North Point. Subsequently, the Board of Directors of Tung Wah received quite a number of requests from people in Kowloon and the New Territories believing that there was a need to set up similar funeral parlours in Kowloon districts. Hence, over $600,000 was granted to renovate a funeral hall in Kwong Wah Hospital near Dundas Street, install air-conditioning and equipment, set up Yau Ma Tei Funeral Parlour, and purchase two more hearses in order to provide services to the public in Kowloon and the New Territories districts. Until 1977, owing to the dilapidated and under-utilized equipment, all equipment and staff in the parlour were all transferred to the newly established Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour where the present site is.

Diamond Hill Funeral Parlour and International Funeral Parlour which is also operated by Tung Wah adopt Central Resource System. They share the use of 6 hearses and an 8-seat passenger van.
